Obstacles Training


Obstacle crossing training is very important for NCC cadets. Obstacle’s training develops courage, courage and physical fitness in the cadets. NCC cadets are trained in PT dress or full dress with rifles. Its competition starts from the battalion level and ends at RDC Camp Delhi.

In this competition, the NCC Cadet team has to cross ten hurdles by running. These obstacles are required to be overcome by each member of the team. The team which crosses all the obstacles in the least time, that team wins. If an obstacle is not overcome by the entire team members or the team, then the score of the team is deducted. The time taken by the first cadet of the team to cross the starting line and the last cadet to reach the finishing line shall be the team time.

Obstacles Course: -

Normally each cadets have a course of running and crossing the following ten obstacles.
It is made at a distance of about 30 feet from a tie. It is made of large wood, sweet or clay.


1.Straight Balance –

In this, the cadets are given three inches thick and four inches wide and 12 feet long wood, which rests on a pole at a height of 1.5 feet from the ground. He has to cross by running while balancing

2.Clear Jump –

Its texture is like a straight beam. it has to be jumped over without touching it.

 

3.Gate Vault –

It is five feet and 18 feet long wooden structure In this, gates are made by placing wood at 3 feet from the ground. To cross the top of the tree, you go out of the gate by holding the hand with your hands, or with the help of the feet on the niche with the tree, the doctor climbs on the tree above

4.Zig-Zag Balance -

It is a 1.5 feet high and 30 feet long wooden structure made of twisted flour. Balancing the body by spreading its hands, it has to be crossed in running length.

5.High Wall-

It is a wall made of 6 feet and 12 feet long bricks, on which there is plaster on both sides. Running to cross this trap, jumps and hangs on the wall from both the hands. Then taking a breath, take one leg to the wall and jump to the other side of the wall.

6.Double Stride Jump –

It is also called double ditch in this both the ditches have to be crossed fast without stopping.

7.Right Hand Vault –

It is a wooden structure 3.5 feet high and 1.5 feet long from the ground. In this, with the help of a wooden beam with both hands, both the legs have to be crossed from above.

8.Left Hand Vault –

Its texture is like a right-hand vault. In this, both the legs have to come out from the top by taking the support of the wooden beam from the left hand.

9.Ramp –

It is 15 feet long, 18 feet wide and 4.5 feet high lumpy cliff. To cross it, run uphill and take a long jump after reaching the top.

10.Straight Balance –

This is a form of puzzle. Crossing it by spreading both the hands while balancing the body.
