Fire Control Oder

The sequence of speaking fire control commands is as follows: –

G = name of the group i.e., unit.

R = distance of the target.

I = Indication i.e., statement of target.

T = Type of fire meaning single shot or burst.

 

Battle Procedures or Strategy

This is the way a commander does his reiki, makes plans, gives orders and by its operation the army is sent to war. It aims to depict each soldier, reduce distraction and save time.

Battle Drill-

This is the drill whose purpose is to make every soldier decide what he has to do in the war?

To increase the mobility of the army in the battlefield, it can be divided into four parts.

1.      R Group (Reiki)

2.      O Group (Order Group)

3.      F (Fighting Group)

4.      T (Transport Group)

 

Section Battle Drill  

The fixed drill of the section in the battlefield can be divided into four parts.

1.      Action on Coming Under Effective Fire

2.      Locating and Neutralizing the Enemy

3.      Attack

4.      Re- organization

 

Defence

 The main objective of the defense is to spread its soldiers and weapons in this manner, so that the enemy’s increase and attack can be stopped effectively.

 

Sentri

The work of an army senti is very important. When an army is encamped or a place to be harmed by an enemy Sentries are deployed for defence. One sentri is posted during the day and two sentri at night.

 

Patrols

This troop of soldiers, which receives the information of the enemy and prevents its information from going to the enemy, is called Patrol.

Ambush

A sudden attack on the enemy from a hidden position is called an ambush. The main destinations of the ambush are as follows: –

1.      inflict more damage on the enemy.

2.      information about enemy.

3.      disarm the enemy.

 

Kinds of Ambush

Opportunity Ambush –The one which is done suddenly without any preparation is called Opportunity Ambush.

Deliberate Ambush- Planted at a pre-determined place with full preparation, it is called Deliberate Ambush.

 

Composition of Ambush

The following is the organization of the Ambush Party-

1.      Scout

2.      Covering

3.      Stops

4.      Reserve Party

 

Ambushing

When an enemy appears, a pre-determined signal is given. On this signal, the safety cover is brought forward, the grande pin is released and the weapon is brought to the intended position. When most of the enemy’s soldiers come to the killing site, the commander gives the signal to fire. After this reserve party and firing party and stops start their work. Commander signals to withdraw at an opportune moment. On this signal, all the rendezvous points, which are already told, reach,

The commander examines them and after the examination the party withdraws to its position and takes its casualties with it.
